Every year on the beautiful slope SASLONG hosts a stage of World Cup Skiing - Downhill and Super G. And every year the world champions are astonished by the excellent conditions and the vast panorama of the Dolomites! The slopes of Val Gardena are always perfectly prepared, and every year facilities continue to be modernized for tourists coming from all over the world to admire the beautiful landscapes of the Dolomites.
The slopes of Val Gardena belong to the famous Dolomiti Super Ski circuit. With a single ski pass - Dolomiti Superski - you can ski/ride 1,200 km of trails and use all the lifts in the Dolomites covering more than 12 ski areas. Alternatively you can also buy the local Val Gardena ski pass: which gives youy access to the breathtaking view of our beautiful Dolomites and the 500 km of slopes.
No need to use buses, ski & ride everywhere! Public transportation available (but not required!).
We will all ski/ride the world-famous Sella Ronda starting directly from our Hotel, going to the Seceda and then on to the famous Saslong ending at Ciampinoi where we're on the Sella Ronda clockwise or counterclockwise.
Cross-country skiing: Val Gardena has many cross-country skiing slopes and excellent guides and ski instructors. From the Alpe di Siusi, passing through Mount Pana to the Vallunga. Every day a new discovery.
There are 115km of superb trails with some of the most picturesque Cross Country skiing in Europe.
Toboggan downhill rides: You can go up by train to Resciesa (which is only 400m from the Hotel Villa Emilia) and from there head off with your sled along a 6km track or climb to the Alpe di Siusi wher you will find even more fun trails.
